Techstars Demo Day
We pitched Horalix on Techstars Demo Day to a global audience of investors, and somehow made Zoom feel like a real stage.
Techstars Demo Day is the kind of event where time behaves strangely.
One minute you are triple checking slides, audio, camera lighting, and whether your laptop is about to betray you. The next minute, you are live, pitching Horalix to more than 100 investors joining from around the world. It is not a room, it is Zoom, yet your brain adapts fast. Once the first sentence lands, the fear fades, and the fun kicks in.
The pitch went really well, and it drilled one lesson into our heads: clarity wins. If your story is sharp, your problem is concrete, and your “why now” is obvious, the momentum carries you. The best pitches are not the ones that sound impressive, they are the ones that get understood quickly. Demo Day made us better at cutting the fluff, simplifying the narrative, and helping the audience picture the workflow even if they have never seen an echocardiogram in their life.
We also loved that we were not doing it alone. We shared the moment with Admir Demir from VoltiumAI, and Lejla Zaciragic Eminovic from STIOKids. We are genuinely grateful to both of them. Pitching side by side made the whole day feel lighter, more human, and honestly more memorable.
We will be posting a photo of all of us in the same room mid pitch, and it captures the vibe perfectly: focused, slightly chaotic, and weirdly joyful.
